6th Maine Autism Resource Fair

The fair offers great resources to the citizens of Maine who live, love and work in the autism community. We are committed to helping children and adults with autism and ask that you help us to continue that work with your support. As one mother of a newly diagnosed child stated last year, " For the first time we didn’t feel alone. We got so much from this one day.

In Maine, 2,468 children, ages 3 to 20 years old have autism.

Donations will be listed on our website and in our fair program. If you would like to make a donation "In Honor" or "In Memory" of an indiviudal, please note that when the donation is made.

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! →INFORMATION SESSIONS: In the morning there are four information sessions.  Each session has been purchased by an interested exhibitor to allow a more formal introduction to their services and/or products. Please see below for a list of those sessions.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE: A certificate of attendance will be given at the end of the day.

STATE OF MAINE CEU's: Will be available. You must attend the entire day to receive the CEU's. (no partial CEUS given)


PLEASE NOTE: Attention SLP-CCC's--- This activity may be used to meet the ASHA certification maintenance requirementif you determine that: (1) the content is relevant to your area of practice and your practice setting, and (2) you are in your 3-year maintenance interval. You do not need prior approval from ASHA to use this activity. The activity is offered for 7 Certification Maintenance Hours, and you will be provided with the appropriate documentation of attendance (CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE). For more information on acceptable activities and your record keeping responsibilities, contact ASHA at 800-498-2071 or certification@asha.org. 


NEW-- A donation would be greatly appreciated to help with costs of this unique 1 day event. Suggeted $20.00 for (Teachers, Ed-techs, Therapists, Providers, interested individuals.  $10.00 suggested donation. (2-parents $10.00 total) For parents (primary caregivers) of a child/adult with autism  

No one will be "taking money" when you register, check-in or walk-in the day of the event.  If you simply can't donate, we understand, come and learn!  If you happen to have a few extra dollars, "add it to the pot".  

We ask that you help us prepare by registering. Walk-ins are welcomed.

LUNCH:  Lunch is your choice, The Augusta Civic Center will have concession stands open for your convenience. There are also eateries nearby.

THE CHILDREN'S AREA: There will be a children's area available. This area is available for parents, caregivers and respite providers who would like a dedicated space to bring their child/children. 

Please note: CHILDCARE IS NOT PROVIDED   Various art projects, puzzles and games will be available.
